Here's what to expect in your city over the next few days.

Sleet, snow and hail stones the size of your head -- social media has been flooded with scary photos as severe weather hits the country from KZN to the Western Cape. Excuse the pun. The SA weather service issued warnings for heavy rain leading to localised flooding over the eastern parts of the Eastern Cape, the coast and southern parts of KwaZulu-Natal as well as the south-western and southern parts of the Western Cape.

In addition, severe thunderstorms with strong winds, heavy rain and hail are expected over the central parts of the Free State, Gauteng as well as the central and eastern parts of the North West Province.
The south-western parts of  KwaZulu-Natal, north-eastern parts of the Eastern Cape as well as the extreme eastern parts of the Free State can expect some snow. In pictures: Snow delights and disrupts SA Meanwhile, very cold conditions are possible over the southern parts of the Northern Cape, extreme northern parts of the Eastern Cape and the central interior of the Free State.
