She was first compared to Marilyn Monroe when she first burst on to the scene in 2003.

And now Scarlett Johansson is taking on another pin-up icon.

The actress and occasional singer appears in a music video for a remake she has recorded of Serge Gainsbourg's duet with Brigitte Bardot, Bonnie and Clyde.

She has collaborated on the song with Gainsbourg's son Lulu, for an album he is producing in tribute to his father, From Gainsbourg To Lulu, the Mail Online reported.

Lulu sings his father's lines in French, while Scarlett speaks and sings Bardot's lines from the legendary song in English.
