Johanna Quaas isn’t your typical grandmother!

The 91-year-old holds the record for being the oldest gymnast in the world. The German gymnast has had a passion for the sport since she was a little girl and took part in her first competition back in 1934 at the tender age of nine.

When she became a mom, she put her career on hold to care of her family, working instead as a physical education teacher.

But the mother-of-three couldn’t stay away for too long, at 57-years old Johanna, got back into the swing of things – literally!

In 2012, at 86, Johanna was crowned the oldest gymnast by the Guinness book of world records.

She has also won the German senior gymnastics championships 11 times and has become popular with online audiences on YouTube, racking up with more than 4.5 million views with her awesome clips.

 

The flexible granny recently appeared on Steve Harvey's show Little Big Shots, where she stunned the audience and Olympic-gold-medal winner, Simone Biles.

“I’m speechless, I hope I can even walk at 90-years old,” says the four-time-gold-medal winner to Johanna.

 

The ex-gym teacher says she simply eats greens and does yoga to keep fit!
