Spaghetti carbonara

We help you take the guessing out of the lunch menu with this quick and easy pasta recipe

Serves 6

Preparation time: 10 min

Cooking time: 15 min

400 g spaghetti

175 g bacon

30 ml (2 T) olive oil

3 garlic cloves, finely chopped

handful of parsley, finely chopped

3 eggs

50 g pecorino, finely grated

salt and pepper

1 Bring salted water to a boil in a large pot. Add the spaghetti and cook for nine minutes or until cooked but still firm.

2 Cut bacon into little strips. Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat, add the bacon and fry until cooked. Add the garlic and parsley and set aside.

3 Drain the spaghetti and add to the bacon mixture. Add the eggs and half the pecorino cheese and mix.

4 Season to taste with salt and black pepper and add the remaining cheese.
