Steak And Cheese On Toast

The perfect comfort food after a long week!

You'll need:

2 x 250 g rib-eye steaks

1 camembert wheel, sliced

15 ml (1 tbsp) green peppercorns

2 onions, halved

20 ml (4 tsp) sugar

8 slices of ciabatta, toasted

Cook the steaks in a griddle pan until done to your taste. Halve and put them on a baking sheet. Top with the cheese, scatter with the peppercorns and bake at 180 ºC for 2 minutes. Meanwhile fry the onions until soft and done, sprinkle with the sugar and fry until caramelised. Put a piece of steak on toast and serve with the onions.
