Chocolatiers Toblerone have unveiled a portrait of Prince William and his son Prince George made entirely out of chocolate to mark Father's Day this weekend.

Britain's Princes William and George have been immortalised in chocolate. Swiss chocolatiers Toblerone commissioned food artist Michelle Wibow to create the 12ft by 8ft  (3,6 m by 2,4 m) portrait of the future king and his 10-month-old son in honour of their first Father's Day this Sunday. Michelle used 1,500 milk, white, and dark chocolate bars to create the picture, which totalled over 16,000 individual pieces of the distinctive triangular-shaped confectionery.

'What better way to mark the nation's favourite royal father by creating an edible portrait of him'
She said: "When I was asked to create a portrait of Prince William and baby George, I was very excited. "Everyone's first Father's Day is a memorable occasion, and what better way to mark the nation's favourite royal father by creating an edible portrait of him."

And the picture - which was based on a photograph of the pair during their visit to Taronga Zoo in Sydney, Australia, in April - took over 100 hours to create.

Michelle added: "It has taken me a long time to map out the exact location for each tiny piece of chocolate to create a recognisable image.

"But the hardest process was trying not to eat the Toblerone along the way!"
