5. Not guilty of murder: Oscar wept as Judge Masipa found him not guilty of murder.

An emotional Oscar Pistorius is seen in the dock as judgment is handed down in his murder trial at the High Court in Pretoria on Thursday, 11 September 2014. Pistorius has been acquitted of murdering his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp."The accused therefore cannot be found guilty of murder dolus eventualis [legal intent]... that however is not the end of the matter as culpable homicide is a competent verdict," said Judge Thokozile Masipa."The State has not proved beyond reasonable doubt that the accused is guilty of premeditated murder. There are just not enough facts to support such a finding."The court ruled that the evidence with regard to the murder charge was "purely circumstantial".
