This 16-year-old boy ditched hockey to become a cheerleader – and he's never looked back

At first Aiden's friends teased him – but now they can't get enough of his cool stunts.

Aiden Annandale is the base cheerleader for the South African national team.

The Joburg schoolboy's journey in cheerleading started two years ago and since then he's earned his Gauteng, South African Majorette and Cheerleading Association (SAMCA) and SA colors.

Now Aiden (16) has a chance to represent the national team in America and his mom Nicky is raising funds to help make his dream come true.
