Paul Henson had the best reaction when his son said he wanted to be a princess for Halloween.

The supportive dad chose not to scold three-year-old Caiden; instead he helped him choose the perfect Princess Elsa costume.

“Anyone that knows us knows we generally let Caiden make his own choices, to an extent. Well, he has decided on a Halloween costume. He wants to be Elsa. He also wants me to be Anna. Game on,” Paul wrote on Facebook.

'Why shame him for wanting to be a princess'

“Keep your masculine bullsh*t and slutty kids costumes, Halloween is about children pretending to be their favorite characters. Just so happens, this week his is a princess,” he added.

He told Huffington Post that it’s important for children “to know that their parents will stand by them no matter what.”

“Why shame him for wanting to be a princess?” Paul said.

“When little girls want to be superheroes, it’s cute. Why isn’t it the same for a little boy that wants to be a princess?”

The facebook post has gone viral, gaining more than 28 000 shares.
