The clip has managed to put a smile on thousands of faces today.

If you've been on Facebook today, chances are you've seen the video of a 'petrol attendant dance-off" at an Engen garage in Cape Town.

The clip shows men dressed in Engen uniforms busting some serious moves as they help surprised customers at the Orange Street petrol station close to the city centre.

The feel-good video has gone viral, with thousands of South Africans sharing it on social media.

"This just made my day and I wasn't even there!" one Facebooker wrote, while another added, "One of the things that makes South Africa so wonderful!"

A video of the clip has been watched over 60 000 times on YouTube and a whopping 700 000 times on Facebook.

Engen spokesperson Gavin Smith told YOU,"It wasn't totally spontaneous."

"They were professional dancers, and it was developed by us."

Be that as it may, the bewildered customers' reactions seem real enough -- and the clip has still managed to put a smile on thousands of faces.
