At first glance, you can't help but admire her muscular physique. It's only when you take a closer look that you notice the inconspicuous baby bump.

Not only is Chontel Duncan expecting, but she's 36 weeks into her pregnancy.
A fitness model from Australia, Chontel's pregnancy has not put a damper on her fitness regime. In fact, she still works out everyday despite being 28 days away from her due date.

"My fitness is still at an excellent level to what it was prior to falling pregnant," Chontel wrote in a Facebook post she shared when she was 22 weeks pregnant.

"Having no sickness throughout this pregnancy has allowed me to maintain a really good routine with my training so I've not had to have any breaks, which has helped me maintain my fitness a lot." The fitness enthusiast's routine usually includes Muay Thai Pad Work (not fighting or sparring). Her husband Sam usually "holds for me so he can keep a close eye on my body language and his little man growing inside of me."

"I have truly loved having this form of cardio present throughout my pregnancy as I'm not a big fan of cardio equipment, running or swimming," she shares in one of her regular updates. Despite being active, she is feeling the effects of being heavily pregnant.

"This tummy is massive, heavy, makes sitting up so difficult, rolling over in bed a funny task, trying my sneakers hard work & my back has its moments where it throbs," she writes in an Instagram post.

Regardless, she insists her "blood pressure is spot on".

"It's exciting because these are all NEW signs & signs that mean Little D is almost here." As she awaits the new arrival, Chontel has made some predictions about how her labour will be. "Predictions are that I'll labour around 4hrs & push for 30mins... fingers crossed these predictions are correct, that just sounds like a dream come true!!!"

She hopes she won't have to take any drugs during delivery.

"I plan to go gas if needed, defiantly no pethidine & epidural would be considered as an absolute last resort." In the meantime, she has been "instructed" to have sex daily, stimulate her nipples every time she goes to the bathroom and increase her raspberry leaf tablets to 6. Apparently, these "useful techniques" will bring on labour.
