After an exhausting challenge on this gruelling outdoor cooking show on e.tv, they were sent packing after failing to impress the judges.

The Fire Feeders, Stuart Smith (42) and Bretton-Anne Moolman (45),  were the first and only Port Elizabeth team to make it into the top 15 of the Ultimate Braaimaster competition. But last night, after an exhausting challenge on this gruelling outdoor cooking show on e.tv, they were sent packing after failing to impress the judges. The Fire Feeders say they knew that it would be tough.

Stuart entered his team for the chance to experience the road trip of a lifetime and Bretton-Anne happily joined him so that she could also share in this amazing experience.

If they had walked away with the title, the car and the cash, Stuart wanted to use his share to set up a travelling food truck and journey across South Africa, while Anne just wanted to buy a car.

While it is the end of the road for them, at least they walked away with R40 000-worth of local weekend getaways courtesy of Sho’t Left.

Next week the remaining four teams travel to Buffelsdrift Game Lodge just outside of Oudtshoorn in the Little Karoo. It wouldn’t be tough’ without an adventure race! This is the penultimate leg before the finale and teams are under serious pressure as they find themselves racing to complete five challenges before they get the chance to start their fires.

Catch the 12th episode of Ultimate Braaimaster next Thursday, 27 November, on e.tv at 20:30.
