SA Idols judge Unathi Msenganais Disney-bound! The singer and TV presenter is set to become Africa's first Disney Junior voice. She has been cast as Rita the Cheetah, in the second season of the award-winning kid’s show, Doc McStuffins. Unathi’s voice can be heard in the episode titled No Sweetah Cheetah, where the wide-eyed Rita learns about why her cheetah spots make her unique.

'I can’t wait to sit down on the couch with my children and watch their faces as they hear my voice'

“I am thrilled and humbled by this opportunity. Being a mother myself, I love watching Disney Junior with my children. I can’t wait to sit down on the couch with my children and watch their faces as they hear my voice in Doc McStuffins. What a wonderful legacy to leave for your children,” Unathi commented.

The episode will air on Youth Day, 16 June at 08:20 on Disney Junoir (Dstv Channel 309).
