The 29-year-old and her new hubby released a statement today officially confirming their happy news.

Are they married? Expecting a baby? Nandi Mngoma and longtime love Zakes Bantwini have had tongues wagging for months, but they've never confirmed their happy news. Until now. At the launch of her fashion range at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week on Wednesday night, the songstress finally put those rumours to rest with a glorious baby bump reveal.

Dressed in a figure-hugging white dress, the star took to the ramp after the Colour showcase, flaunting and rubbing her baby bump.

I have so much to celebrate, My new single #Amantombazane, My Album #LOVELIGHTANDMUSIC2 I'm working on, My marriage, Our pregnancy, God has truly blessed me this year. More than 3years ago of being in a relationship my wife and I decided to make our relationship private and not make a career out of our relationship. As excited as we have been about certain things, As Africans by culture we you wait until the right time to divulge such sensitive news as a pregnancy. But unfortunately we had been robbed of such privilege by us being public figures. We decided to make the news official yesterday on our own terms than feeling pressure to succumb to speculation and rumours about our lives. But we're lucky to have amazingly supportive parents and family who have been our rocks and pillars who continuously wish us well. Now that we’ve cleared the air, myself and my beautiful wife ask that we be given some privacy and respect to continue to enjoy this new chapter in our lives together. Thank you All ??

"My heart is beyond happy as I can confirm that I am indeed Mrs Madida," Nandi said, adding that their special time had been tinged with frustration. "Zakes and Nandi lead very private lives and have the utmost respect for culture and tradition," the statement reads.

"When news of Nandi's pregnancy, coupled with leaked private medical information, the couple was disappointed and felt their privacy had been violated and confidentiality had been breached." Nandi goes on to explain that the couple "still very much believe in the African way". "As excited as we may be about certain things, culture and tradition dictate that we must wait until the right time to divulge such sensitive news." After her big reveal, the local beauty's fans and famous friends took to social media to congratulate the mom-to-be.
