A young couple meet with their minister to set a date for their wedding. He asks them whether they’d prefer a modern or traditional service. They choose the modern service.

On the day of the wedding there’s a terrible storm and the groom is forced to abandon his car and complete his journey to the church on foot. The roads are flooded so he rolls up his trousers in a bid to keep them dry. Arriving late at church he’s immediately hustled up the aisle so the ceremony can start.

The minister takes one look at him and hisses, “Pull down your trousers!”

Alarmed by this the groom says, “Uh, actually, minister, I’ve changed my mind. I think I’ll go for the traditional service.”
