Woman accused of raping taxi driver at knife point

Brittany Carter (23) has been charged with first-degree rape and aggravated robbery.

A woman from Findlay, Ohio was accused of raping a taxi driver while her accomplices held him down at knife point.

23-year-old Brittany Carter has since been charged with first-degree rape and aggravated robbery.

According to police, Carter got into the taxi in the early hours of the morning with two men.

The taxi was called from a local hotel. In the vehicle, Carter performed a sex act on the 29-year-old driver while another passenger, Corey Jackson, (20) held a knife to the taxi drivers neck.

After this assault, the trio took $32 (R433) from the driver's pocket and fled the scene.

"We don't know why she did it," Detective Lt. Robert Ring of Findlay police department said. "Maybe it was a distraction because they took money from him."

The third accomplice has not been identified and Carter is being held on $60,000 bail.

The attack has stirred up heated conversation on social media.
