A woman was removed from a plane for her incessant singing of the late Whitney Houston’s big hit I Will Always Love You during a six-hour flight.

The woman ? whose identity is unknown ? was thrown off a jet at Kansas City during a journey from Los Angeles to New York's John F Kennedy International Airport after the pilot of the American Airlines flight was forced to make an emergency landing, New York blog Gawker reports.

A spokesman for Kansas City International Airport said, "The woman was being disruptive and was removed from the plane for interfering with the flight crew.

"There was a federal air marshal on the aircraft who subdued the woman and put her in cuffs."
