Gweneth Lee believes she's doing wives of the men she sleeps with a favour.

Gweneth Lee believes she's doing her lovers' wives a favour.

The financial consultant (45) joined 'married dating' site illicitencounters.com after her businessman husband, Robert, died of liver cancer 10 years ago.

A friend of hers, who was using the site because her husband was impotent, recommended it to her.

"My friend was having the time of her life and she told me, 'You have got to try it'."

"It is not like ordinary internet dating - this is a world away from Tinder," Gweneth, from Chelsea, London told the UK's Daily Mirror.

'Everyone benefited from the arrangement'

"Sites like Illicit Encounters attract a higher calibre of men. They are rich, highly discreet and highly sexed.

"That ticks all my boxes. I wanted to have all the fun and none of the complications you normally get with affairs."

Fast forward a decade and Gweneth has had long-term affairs with three married men -- a Danish shipping magnate, security chief and an accountant -- all three of whom did not want to leave their wives. All three relationships lasted for years.

The pretty brunette believes at least one of their wives, who was no longer interested in having sex, knew about the affair and tolerated it for fear her husband would have an affair elsewhere.

"If her husband had not been allowed to cheat he would have left her and that would have caused huge upheaval to a family with children," she says

"He stayed in the family home and would sleep with me with his wife's full knowledge.

"We would be very discreet. I was a simple outlet for him to have his fun."

She says she doesn't feel "morally compromised" after all her extramarital activities.

"Everyone benefited from the arrangement - even the wife who had a much happier husband because of me."
