The first batch of the new Microsoft Xbox One is so sought after it’s being guarded by a tank full of tiger sharks.

This brand-new hardware is the successor to Xbox 360 and will be launched in a series of parties in 13 countries. Ten thousand stores in these 13 countries, among them America, Australia and New Zealand, will open their doors at midnight on 22 November to sell the sought-after console.

Meanwhile, the very first Xbox One, which will be presented to a fan at midnight on 21 November in New Zealand,  is being stored in a watertight container in a tank containing 20 tiger sharks at Sea Life Aquarium in Auckland.

One of the characteristics of Xbox One is that users will be able to personalise the control panel. The new hardware will recognise your face and voice and will guide you to a personal control panel where you can store links to your favourite games,    apps, music and movies.

The Xbox One will retail for about R5 100 in America. Microsoft has, however, not announced a launch date for its newest toy in South Africa.

Sony will also be launching its new Playstation 4 soon, and it will sell for about R4 080.
