Ayanda Mabulu's latest piece has left many disgusted.

Controversial artist Ayanda Mabulu has shocked the nation once again with another graphic painting of president Jacob Zuma.

But this time, he features the late former president Nelson Mandela in an extremely comprising position.

Mabulu is known for the infamous 'Spear Down My Throat' painting of Zuma.

Once again, Mabulu's piece is a statement against the president, who the painting appears to depict as defiling Madiba's legacy.

But the painting has left many South Africans disgusted -- including the Nelson Mandela Foundation.

They said in a statement: "The Nelson Mandela Foundation notes the public outrage [the painting] has caused and appreciates that the public is offended by it.

"The Foundation would like to express that it respects Mr Mabulu’s right to freedom of expression. We however find this painting distasteful."
