Cape Town - Two ANC Youth League members splurged R83 000 on a pre-election party before running off without paying the bill.

The owners of the Durban restaurant – Velvet Lounge - which hosted the party, have since approached the police in an attempt to get their money back after both the ANCYL and the ANC distanced themselves from the issue.
