Giving up smoking makes me crave chocolates

Recently I have been feeling like Spiderman climbing the walls to get to the damsel in distress at the top of the skyscraper. The problem is my skyscraper is the fact that I stopped smoking.

Have you ever had one of those Monday mornings where you are getting ready to take your kid to school and as you start walking to the car you realise that today there is a birthday party at school.

How to get new clothes!

As moms we are often neglectful of ourselves when it comes to the clothing department and when we do go shopping for ourselves, we end up coming home with things for Dad and our kiddies.

A parent's worse nightmare - green snot!

Before having Bella, green snot to me meant the goo that you find in colourful bottles at the toy store that stick to your hands when you pull it out and play with it.

Gratefully grateful

Last night was a really cold evening and so I put on an extra blanket on Bella when she went to bed and put on a warmer top for myself.

Just the two of us!

My hubby and I went on a date day instead of date night. This is when my hubby and I leave my daughter with one of her sets of grandparents and go and spend some quality time alone.

Are you packing?

When you are dieting, 10kg is a lot of weight to lose but when you are packing for a 17 month old child to go on an international trip, 10kg seems very little.

I find that there is a before and after mom makeup routine! Before Bella I never used to take long putting my make-up on but I had time to do eyeliner and fuss a little.
