About Me:

I am quite happy to go and sit in the naughty corner once I've had my rant.

To my detriment, I am quite happy to tell the truth and not succumb to political correctness. @rudiernst

I have received no mandate to write this article on anybody’s behalf, am politically homeless at the moment and enter this mess purely on a personal level.

Most South Africans are acutely aware of the land claims law and President Zuma’s recent encouragement to traditional leaders to take advantage of it.

The ANC government says it encourages entrepreneurs and has the increase of employment opportunities as a priority on its agenda. This simply cannot be true.

The damage control politicians will soon have no choice but to face reality – either the ANC’s rule is over or Zuma’s career is over.

Are South Africans really sad about Madiba passing away or are they scared about the dying of their dreams?

South Africa is fast becoming old news in the context of African shipping, yet it is clearly unaware of its fate.

Cyril Ramaphosa, business’ favorite ANC leader, called on big business to blow vast sums of money on funding "education."

I often wonder whether there is some magic recipe by which the Proteas brew their particularly bitter concoction of disappointment.

Firstly, and apropos of absolutely nothing that follows, let me take the liberty of pointing out that when one “declares war” it is expected that one involves oneself shortly thereafter

I remember the refrain from when I was a kid that if you say or do something naughty or un-Christian, be careful or you will get hit by lightning.

Unfortunately, for those who irritate me, I am quite prepared to work long and hard on a personal insult.
