The treat of ridiculous salary increases

Lately the news has been full, yet again, of unions asking for ridiculously high increases. Somewhere along the line these people's bluff needs to be called and their power broken.

I can already almost see the atheist getting ready to slaughter me with ridicule and other bad intention, but this is not a religious rant
