About Me:

passionate about writing both fiction and non-fiction. Loves soccer and a diehard music collector.

Every generation blames the one before! Sings Mike & The Mechanics in their all time classic tune: In the living years.

Our story as a country is a beautiful one and envied by most of the world. Our negotiated transition from Apartheid into Democracy became a yardstick to most countries around the world bedevilled by incessant internal conflicts and wars.

If only Africans could wake up to the fact that the US and EU countries need us more than we need them, they'd stop this foolishness of devouring each other.

It is no doubt that the passing and the mourning of the most celebrated liberation Icon of the world, Nelson Mandela; has brought a lot of self-introspection to the Republic.

I am sure like most South Africans, caught by surprise by the magnitude of his life and death; you can relate to this.

It was kind of scary when the crowd started to boo very loudly as Zuma was gesturing to begin with his speech; very telling.

We can turn our tears into joy today as a country, if we could only reconsider, look back over our shoulders; and remember where we’ve fallen.

Finally, it rained in GP last Saturday, a sign of good things to come this Summer; and boy, did I celebrate!

Let it be a lesson to all would-be future politicians across the Republic; that politics is nothing but dirty games!

I don’t know about you, when it comes to poo, I can’t even stand my own; let alone take time and collect other people’s.

With the general elections around the corner, next year; I thought it a good idea to share my classic post on the fallacy of elections and democracy.
