The question of whether or not God exists is an important one. It has scientific, moral and existential importance.

‘Scientism’ was attacked in a recent article, I’d like to discuss that article and expose some of its mistakes.

Recently an article was published, the author of which wished to understand what it was like to be an atheist. In order to discover this, he asked a number of questions.

I wish to argue that there is no evidence whatsoever for fine-tuning in the universe which suggests that there is a God who designed it.

I’m going to spend some time criticising what is known as the ‘Moral Argument for the Existence of God’, I’ll rely on the version given by Dr William Lane Craig.

I've given a number of complicated arguments for my position. Unfortunately I have presented them in an inaccessible way.

Although atheism has been charged with failing to provide an objective foundation for morality, what the complainants are really referring to is ‘naturalism’.

My position on morality is, in its essence, fairly straightforward. Morality – what one ought to do – is identified as the maximisation of one’s own well-being.

The normative theory which I have proposed is, I think, what a ‘science of morality’ would look like.

What is left for me to do is to discuss in more particular terms the view of morality from the perspective of naturalism.
