Beckham demands improvement

Baden-Baden - Play better. That's what David Beckham thinks his team has to do if England wants to win a second World Cup this year.
"We have to be more positive," the England captain said after England advanced to the second round. "If we are going to win it, we know we have to play a lot better than we have done."
England will face Ecuador on Sunday after winning Group B with a 2-2 draw against Sweden on Tuesday.
Earlier, England was criticized for beating Paraguay 1-0 with an own-goal, and only topping Trinidad and Tobago 2-0.
The English team, which lost Michael Owen for the rest of the tournament when he tore an anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee, has been poor at defending set pieces and again fell into its familiar second-half sag.
But winning the group meant avoiding Germany in the second round.
"We're in a good position, it's not all down and down-hearted," Beckham said. "Apart from Michael's injury."
