Ngam out for six weeks

Potchefstroom - South African pace bowler Mfuneko Ngam is likely to miss both the Bangladesh and Sri Lanka cricket tours to South Africa after breaking a bone in his left foot.
Ngam has suffered an overwhelming array of injuries since
bursting onto the international scene in the 2000/2001 season.
Amongst other injuries, Ngam has endured stress fractures, shin
splints and shoulder problems. Having come through the recent
Australia A tour of this country in September, it was hoped Ngam
would stay fit long enough to press for a World Cup place.
He was unable to practise with the national team at nets on
Wednesday after complaining of a "sore toe".
On Thursday it emerged that the injury was rather more serious
and the paceman will be out of action for six weeks. It is thought
that he broke the bone when playing for Easter Province against the
Northern Titans in a Supersport Series game last weekend.
