Egypt move into the top 20

Zurich - African Cup of Nations winners Egypt are among the big movers in the Fifa rankings for February issued on Monday in Zurich, reaching their highest position since 1998.

Egypt jump 15 places to 17th following their victory over Ivory Coast on penalties in the final to secure a record fifth title.

Nigeria move up 12 places to 12th after finishing third while Cameroon also make it into the top 20, up seven places to 16th.

Ivory Coast are up 10 places to 32nd while there is no change at at the top of the ranking, with Brazil leading the way, followed by the Czech Republic, Netherlands and Argentina.

France are fifth, only one point ahead of Spain, Mexico and the United States. England and Portugal complete the top 10.

This month's world ranking covers a total of 68 matches: 32 in the African Cup of Nations, 32 friendlies and four matches remaining from the beginning of the year.

The next rankings will be issued on March 15.
