Federer wins Olympic gold

Beijing - Switzerland's Roger Federer and Stanislas Wawrinka beat Simon Aspelin and Thomas Johansson of Sweden 6-3, 6-4, 6-7 (4/7), 6-3 to win the Olympic men's doubles title on Saturday.
The Swiss pair raced to a two-set lead but were taken to a tense fourth set before claiming their country's first tennis gold since Marc Rosset's 1992 singles triumph.
Earlier top-seeded US twins Bob and Mike Bryan claimed the bronze medal with a win over Arnaud Clement and Michael Llodra of France on Saturday.
The Bryans, beaten by Federer and Wawrinka in the semi-finals, won 3-6, 6-3, 6-4.
