Downs, Ndlovu part ways

Pretoria - Mamelodi Sundowns' technical director Ted Dumitru has confirmed that both veteran Zimbabwean striker Peter Ndlovu and defender David Kannemeyer have parted ways with the Brazilians.

"Yes, Ndlovu and Kannemeyer are no longer with us and have both been allowed to leave the club and join teams of their choice."

Dumitru adds that the Brazilians expect new signings Sibusiso Zuma and Siboniso Gaxa to join the team for pre-season training on Monday.

Gaxa was given a short break after participating in the 2010 World Cup/Africa Cup of Nations qualifier games with Bafana Bafana recently.

Sources close to Ajax Cape Town said that Kannemeyer is involved in talks with the Urban Warriors where he made his name before leaving to seek greener pastures in Gauteng.

Ndlovu is back in Johannesburg after a trip to Zimbabwe and is looking for a team to join next season.
