Kampala - Regional heads of state seeking a solution to the conflict in eastern DR Congo called on rebel group M23 on Saturday to "stop all war activities" and withdraw from the key town of Goma, which they seized on Tuesday.

In a statement at the end of their summit in the Ugandan capital Kampala, the leaders also said the M23 should "stop talk of overthrowing an elected government".
