Nairobi - A senior Kenyan cabinet minister and his deputy were killed when a police helicopter crashed into a forest just outside the capital and burst into flames, local television stations said on Sunday.

Prime Minister Raila Odinga's spokesperson said Odinga had been informed of the deaths of internal security minister George Saitoti and his deputy, Orwa Ojode.

Once again we see sensational headlines. The difference between "killed" and "dies" suggests violence as opposed to an accident. The headline is written in a way that suggests that someone caused the death rather than the person dying in an accident. The word "killed" in this context may be grammatically and factually correct, but it still misleads the reader.
