New Central African gov't criticised

Bangui - An alliance of opposition parties says it's withdrawing from the new government created only days ago by self-appointed President Michel Djotodia.

Djotodia, whose rebel fighters overthrew the country's president of a decade about a week ago, had announced a new list of government ministers late on Sunday.

However, the opposition parties say they were disappointed to learn about the appointments from state radio like everyone else.

Prime Minister Nicolas Tiangaye, a long serving opposition leader, said on Tuesday that the other opposition members couldn't be forced to participate.

Tiangaye is leading a delegation from Central African Republic to neighbouring Chad on Wednesday, where regional leaders are due to discuss the country's ongoing political crisis.

Central African Republic's new president says he plans to rule until elections in 2016.

#CAR! A government that has children in it's army should never be recognised! It needs to be isolated!

I was in Sierra Leone in September of 2000 (rebels were kicked out of Freetown end April 2000). They had a camp with over 2000 amputees. Speak to the people, some of their own children did it. I'm talking 9 and 10 year olds. Then you see some of these kids, and their eyes are just dead. Anyone using children in war should be shot on the spot.

You are in Africa and Africa is the place where for three hundred years these people traded off their people for cheap goods.

The leaders must reject and send the CAR so called Priminister packing back to his banana country. The AU should send their solders to deal wit the rebels once and for all.
