It took five people approximately two hours to clean the bloody mess 14 hyenas left after killing a kudu bull in the main reception area of the Kavinga Safari Camp in Zimbabwe.

Photos and video footage posted by the camp show the kudu bull lying dead in a large pool of blood, in the middle of what was an immaculately polished floor. The floor is covered with bloody paw prints.

"We managed to clean up the mess, and the camp is looking back to normal now," assistant manager at Kavinga Safari Camp Caitlin Wetzlar told News24

PICS: Zimbabweans find humour in minister's ribbon-cutting ceremony

Social media is buzzing with the #ChinamasaChallenge after pictures of Zimbabwean Finance Minister Patrick Chinamasa "officially opening" a garbage bin at a ceremony in the north-eastern town of Rusape went viral.

The #Chinamasachallenge started trending on Wednesday.

In the photos, Chinamasa, wearing a brown suit with a falling flower lapel, can be seen smiling widely while cutting a bright green ribbon stretched over a large bin.

According to ZWNews, the ceremony was attended by several government officials and members of the public.

WATCH: Nigerian singer releases song in defence of fake jerseys

A singer in Nigeria released a defiant song this week celebrating the country's fake World Cup jerseys and defending the right to wear them.

The neon green and white zig-zag jerseys worn by the Super Eagles have been the fashion hit of the tournament and a point of pride in Nigeria.

But the official kit designed by Nike is too expensive for many Nigerians to afford, so they've turned to imported fakes that have flown off the shelves.

In the song "Fake Jersey", the singer and social media star known as Teni, says "it's nobody's business" what type of jersey she's wearing.

Kenyan Alex Maina Kariuki is a school principal with a difference. He insists on wearing the same school uniform as his students.

Kariuki says he doesn't know what people think about him when they see him in school uniform, "but I would imagine they see me as a joker".

Akon set to create 'real-life Wakanda' with own currency in Senegal – reports

Akon has reportedly announced plans to launch a new cryptopcurrency, Akoin, together with a "real-life Wakanda-like city".

According to BBC, the lonely hitmaker said this on Monday at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity.

The project is the foundation of the AKoin Ecosystem, which "unlocks the potential of the world's largest emerging economy through the creation of a stable currency and innovative, revenue-generating opportunities that stimulate and support youth entrepreneurship, economic stability, and growth across Africa and the world", said the AKoin website.
