Cape Town – Zimbabwe’s President Robert Mugabe offered a $330 000 reward to anyone who can unmask an anonymous whistle-blower, The Independent reported on Monday.

The mole, who goes by the name of Baba Jukwa, is behind a string of leaks on Facebook from the heart of Mugabe's regime about corruption, alleged assassination plots and police brutality.

According to The Independent, Mugabe's aids unsuccessfully called on Facebook to remove the page. Other reports claim Mugabe appealed to Chinese government members for technical help in identifying the user and censoring the page.

The Baba Juwka page has been viewed over a million times and has a following of over 250 000 people.

Baba Jukwa describes himself on his Facebook page as a "concerned father, fighting nepotism and directly linking community with their Leaders, Government, MPs and Ministers".
