Cape Town – Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe is reportedly struggling to contain “serious struggles” currently rocking his Zanu-PF party amid chaotic provincial elections.

The Standard said on Sunday that there were reports of intensifying fights within the party as different factions positioned themselves for the eventual succession of the 89-year-old Mugabe.
