Zuma at Zondo: 101 questions he must answer

Former president Jacob Zuma has been associated with state capture and grand corruption for years. His name has been omnipresent in the testimony of almost every witness in front of the commission of inquiry into state capture and he is implicated in some of the most egregious breaches of law connected to capture.

He's never accounted for his role in the lost decade in which he was head of state and has consistently questioned why he was ever implicated. When former Public Protector Thuli Madonsela managed to get an audience with him in October 2016 he evaded all efforts to prod him to answer questions. And there's no doubt his legal team will on Monday again attempt to prevent him from having to answer for his deeds.

But if Deputy Chief Justice Raymond Zondo, who chairs the commission, manages to force Zuma to sit down and be examined, there are thousands of questions millions of South Africans would like answers to. Here are 101 of those – by no means a conclusive list, but a certainly a good start.

Tweet us your questions for Zuma @News24, @AdriaanBasson or @PieterDuToit. We'd love to add to the list.
