1 of 3 missing Pretoria children found dead

2014-03-15 12:55

The body of one of the three children who went missing in Mamelodi East, Pretoria has been found, the city of Tshwane has said.

Residents told City Press that two bodies have been found, one this morning at 9am and the other at 11am.

However, police officials have confirmed that only one body was recovered.

The boy’s body was found underneath a tree this morning, said city spokesperson Blessing Manale.

Manale said the search would be easier as water levels had dropped by today after heavy rainfall earlier this week.

Bonolo Malemela (9), Gomolemo Mangena (10) and Neo Setlhabane (10) went missing on Monday evening. They were last seen playing in the stormwater system near Mamelodi East sports ground.
