Warrant Officer Siyabulela Vukubi said the men were arrested by

Gugulethu and Athlone police in Maitland yesterday.

“These police members were arrested after allegations that they

“At Khayelitsha they ordered him out of the vehicle in a place

where the complainant is not familiar with, but he managed to get some help,”

He said the three men were later arrested. However, it was believed

that there was a fourth man involved.

The officers – aged between 29 and 35 – were expected to appear in

the Cape Town Magistrate’s Court tomorrow. – Sapa
