2012-01-30 07:45

Thirty primary school children were injured, one critically, when the two taxis they were travelling in collided at Nasrec near Crown Mines, Johannesburg, this morning.

The taxis crashed at Beyers Naude Drive around 7am, said Johannesburg emergency services spokesperson Robert Mulaudzi. He said one of the taxis crashed into the back of another.

The drivers were not injured. The 30 children were taken to the Koos Beukes and Lesedi clinics in Diepkloof.

Mulaudzi said one of the children, a little boy whose age was not immediately known, was in a critical condition.
