2013-09-07 15:05

Two people died and six were injured when a truck and two vehicles collided on the N3 near the Heidelberg off-ramp in Germiston, paramedics said.

The truck appeared to have collided with two vehicles before crashing down the embankment and dragging one vehicle with it, ER24 spokesperson Werner Vermaak said today.

The second vehicle was found severely damaged several metres away from the crash.

“Two people in the truck sustained critical injuries... Two people, believed to be from one of the cars, died on the scene,” Vermaak said.

“Four other people found several metres away from the wreckage were also found in a critical condition and were rushed to a hospital.”
