We really have come to know the ins and outs of Kim Kardashian – in a more literal way than we’d like. But it seems that wasn’t enough.

The infamous reality star is now invading tablets with her very own game. I’m a bit of an expert when it comes to free iPad/iPhone games. I’ve been building my very own kingdom in Castle Story for about two years.

I once raised my own horse with the MyHorse app (I think that one was for kids, but who cares). And my Candy Crush score is hard to beat. So I know a good game when I see one.

This is difficult for me to say, believe me, but I really enjoyed the Kim K game.

Kustom kreation

You play the game as a kustomisable character (that’s kustom with a k, coz everything in this app is Kardashianified), where you pick your hairstyle, skin tone and even the colour of your nail polish.

The game starts with you as an anonymous store clerk in a boutique in downtown Los Angeles. But things are about to take a turn.

As you’re about to lock up and go home, who rocks up at the door but Kim Kardashian herself – in all her digital, animated glory.

Kim has an emergency: she has to go for a photoshoot but has nothing to wear. She wants to know if you can help her.

You agree and give her a silver dress on the house (because you’re a store clerk, but apparently loaded). Kim is so delighted she asks you to party with her. The rest of the game is you completing a series of tasks to go from being a D-list celebrity to a world-famous star.

Money for nothing

Ah, but here’s the catch. In order to complete tasks, you need little lightning bolts for energy. Once your lightning bolts run out, you have to wait for up to an hour to have them refilled.

Unless of course, you buy Kim K stars, which you buy with real-world cash. Apparently, people have been spending thousands on this game.

My kustomisable character is dating an arty guy called Mitchell and my agent, Simon, is about to call me about an advertising spot.
