A Joburg banker allegedly tried to extort R100?000 from Generations actor Thami Mngqolo after he claims to have caught Mngqolo in bed with his girlfriend.

Kagiso Blaad says he caught Mngqolo, who plays gay heart-throb Senzo in the soapie, and Lesedi Lebatlang cuddling in the main bedroom of his up-market Morningside town house in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Mngqolo has retaliated, denying he and Lebatlang had sex. He is laying a complaint of extortion against Blaad with the police.

Lebatlang confirmed Blaad had booted her out, but poured cold water on claims of infidelity.

“I’m not in love with Thami and I’m not in love with Kagiso either. Kagiso has been wanting to go out with me since 2010 and I have been rejecting,” she said.
