South African women’s soccer team Banyana Banyana caretaker coach Joseph Mkhonza, has called up 33 players to a training and testing camp at the national training camp to be held in Stellenbosch from February 17 to 25.

The training camp is an important phase of the squad’s preparations ahead of their next Olympic qualifying fixture, at home to Tunisia on April 2.

Unbeaten in the three matches he had been in charge of Banyana Banyana since December last year, Mkhonza has even more reason to smile after receiving the news that key players in midfielder Gabisile Hlumbane and Yola Jafta, are off the injury list and ready to challenge for inclusion in the team to face Tunisia.
