Bond is back – in new wheels

2011-05-30 13:33

James Bond is known for amazing stunts, having gorgeous women by his side and driving stunning cars packed with gadgets. Now the British spy is back in the pages of Jeffery Deaver’s new book, Carte Blanche, and sports a new Bentley Continental GT as his car of choice.

Carte Blanche is published by Hodder & Stoughton in the UK and South Africa, and has been commissioned by Ian Fleming Publications.

More than half the book is set in South Africa.

Bond’s new Continental GT certainly suits his character, with a 6.0-litre, W12 twin-turbo engine kicking out 423kW of power and 700Nm of torque.

The interior of the car is set in thunder blue with a saffron and imperial blue, Scandinavian bull leather hide.
