Broomstick killer gets 15 years

2012-07-14 07:30

A man convicted of murdering his fiancé was sentenced to 15 years in jail by the Hankey Magistrates’ Court.

In 2009, Mluleki Moss (53) beat the woman to death with crutches and a broomstick at his home in Hankey, near Humansdorp, said lieutenant colonel Priscilla Naidu. He then covered her body with a blanket and left it on his bed.

“After some time, her family noticed an unusual amount of flies on his bedroom window and when they went to investigate, they saw her decomposed body through the window,” said Naidu.

Moss was sentenced yesterday.
