Cricket SA postpones AGM

2012-10-24 15:41

Cricket South Africa’s (CSA) annual general meeting, which was set to take place on Saturday, has been postponed to November 27.

The meeting was highly anticipated as CSA was going to elect the five provincial presidents who are going to join the five independent board members who were elected last week.

In a statement, the organisation said the motion had been passed by its member’s forum, which said the meeting had been postponed to “bring about harmonisation between” proposed governance structures in line with Judge Chris Nicholson’s committee of inquiry’s recommendations and its South Africa Sports Confederation and Olympic Committee (Sascoc) membership.
