Police have arrested Jozi FM DJ Donald (Duck) Sebolai, who was on the run after allegedly murdering his girlfriend.

“Yes, we have finally found him. He is in police custody,” said spokesperson Warrant Officer Kay Makhubela.

Sebolai was arrested outside a home in Dube this morning, Soweto, after police received a tip-off regarding his whereabouts.

The popular DJ has been on the run for more than a week after his girlfriend was stabbed to death.

Makhubela said Sebolai was planning on fleeing to Pretoria before the arrest.

“We found him unarmed and he is being held at the Jabulani Police Station,” said Makhubela .

He said Sebolai would appear in the Protea Magistrates’ Court in the next 48 hours.
