The sound of Petite Noir (Little Black) echoes in your ears long after the music stops. The rhythms it floats along sinks somewhere deep in your body, there where you left the groove.

The musical lovechild of Congolese and Angolan parents, iLunga relocated from Cape Town to London a year ago to begin recording his debut EP The King of Anxiety after being signed to independent British recording label Domino (the same group that brought out indie superstars Franz Ferdinand and the Arctic Monkeys).
